John H. Lathrop, President John is the third generation of Lathrops to run the Lathrop Agency in Westerly. He has experience in all facets of the agency's operation, including Claims, Accounting, Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. John, a graduate of Ursinus College in PA and University of Oregon, is active in the day to day operations and oversees the administration of the agency.

David B. Anderson, CPCU, AAI, Vice President
Dave brings a vast knowledge of Personal and Commercial Insurance experience to Lathrop Insurance. His past experience in Underwriting and Marketing with General Accident and New Hampshire Insurance Co., a division of AIG, helps clients be sure they are getting the proper coverage. A graduate of Colby College in Maine, Dave has managed the Commercial Lines of Lathrop Insurance since 1989. He also has attained the certifications of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Accredited Advisor in Insurance.

Jeffrey D. Sorensen, CLU, ChFC, RHU Life, Health and Disability Manager
Jeff provides clients with advice in the area of Life, Health, and Disability Insurance, as well as Retirement Plans, Long Term Care, and many other areas. He has expertise in both Individual and Group plans. He has attained the following designations; Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Registered Health Underwriter, and he serves on the Board of the RI Life Underwriters.
